bgn 0 Posted September 11, 2010 Big scale Victory. I'm not one to weigh very often. Normally only when i go in for a fill. My last fill was mid July. Well, I've been visiting my daughter and her family and decided to try her scales this morning. I was afraid I had gained a couple pounds.......but........to my surprise i was down 12.5 lbs from my last fill. needless to say i was so pleasantly surprised. that makes me down 71 lbs since jan/10 and only 20-25 lbs to go. I know they will come off slowly but they will come off. For those of you just starting this journey, keep your chin up and the little we do every day will make a big big difference in the months to come.
reverie 49 Posted September 11, 2010 Congrats! Amazing that you've been able to stay off the scale; I've gotta be on it once a week.
Melissannde 41 Posted September 11, 2010 Don't want to bust your bubble, but different scales will weigh you differently. I can weigh at home.. then go directly to the gym, no eating or drinking and weigh again, wearing the same clothes and be 3 lbs different.
Noturningback15 45 Posted September 11, 2010 That's awesome!!! And even if the scale is off by 3 pounds or so, she still lost!!!!!!! Yea!!!!
vlp1968 83 Posted September 11, 2010 You are doing great! If your not excersising already, it will help those last 20 pounds fade away. If you are, you may want to up the intensity. It has worked for me in getting those last 10 pounds off.
rockstar 0 Posted September 11, 2010 Congrats!! Even if that scale weighed you wrong, so what!! Maybe you lost 15.2 lbs! That's amazing, keep up the good work!

Melissannde 41 Posted September 13, 2010 That was my point.. albeit I expressed myself badly... that the loss might not be 12.5 lbs. It might be 20lbs. It might be 8. I just didn't want the OP to get home and get all depressed if the numbers weren't as good on the home scale. Congrats on the loss.. whatever the number is.
