the best me 6 Posted December 9, 2005 Wowza, 40 staples?! I'm assuming you didn't have this band removal done laporoscopically, right? Your hubby posted that there was alot of infection, so that makes sense, yes? Girl, so glad to see you posting and on the mend. Hang in there. Keep us updated, too. All the best to you! I'llsucceed 1 Posted December 9, 2005 So happy to hear you healing now Francesca. It was great to speak with you even though it was too quick.JUst remember not to over do anything especially because you surgery was so invasive. I pray the stomach Gods are kind to you & your back to an upright position soon. I know you must be so happy getting all that crap out of your gut (Tubes & Staples) I'll talk w/ya soon. Penni60 45 Posted December 9, 2005 OWIE!! 40 staples!! I was blessed that I could have my band removed laproscopically. I was so afraid I would have to be cut open but Billy didn't have to. I did have a drain in for two days though. They took it out just before I was discharged yesterday. Francesca, I am praying for a speedy recovery and no more surgeries for along long time for us.
