Nicole74 4 Posted September 7, 2010 Had my first fill this afternoon...my doctor had a hard time finding the port so it was a tad uncomfortable and painful..but he finally found it and put in 3 cc's..I have a total of 4 now...My stomach is sore but I am just hoping this 3cc's helps me out..I have been so hungry and can eat about a cup and half of food before even starting to fill content....how long does it take to feel the effects of your fill? I know there is a chance that I wont but I am really not trying to believe that right now:tongue2: I am on liquids for the rest of the day but than back to regular food tomorrow..trying to mentally prepare to chew chew chew and small bites!!! Iv lost 26lbs in 6 weeks but havnt lost any in the past 2 weeks..I really want to start losing again.
belbarr1 0 Posted September 7, 2010 I got my first fill today too. He put in 4cc's. I came home and had some Soup but I could only eat about 1/2 cup. I ate my Soup about an hour after my fill. I was getting very hungry over the weekend and was eating a lot more than I had after surgery so this fill came at a good time for me.
Mel Mel 0 Posted September 7, 2010 My first fill was a bit more painful than the second. Each one was by a different doctor so possibly different techniques were involved. The first fill put me at 4ccs and since swelling had gone down I didn't really feel a difference. Now I'm at 5 and I think a little bit more and I'll feel like I'm at my sweet spot. Nicole74 4 Posted September 7, 2010 Thanks, I havn't eat anything since my fill but am really hungry right now. I am going to try and eat some Soup. My stomach doesnt feel any different yet...I just hope I have some restriction!! If not I have to wait another 6 weeks until my next fill on Nov 19th!! that would really suck but Im trying to be patient!
Nicole74 4 Posted September 8, 2010 well I ate some soup..nothing..so I ate some chicken salad and I still dont feel any different..I hear that sometimes the fill takes a few days but Im really nervous that this fill won't change anything and now I may have to wait another 6 weeks for possible restriction!! so frustrating!!
