Ninababy 5 Posted September 7, 2010 I am only 30 pounds down and I can tell that my wedding rings are getting loose! I don't want to resize till goal.. How did you deal with this? Will a jeweler put a guard on them? Weird questions I know.. But.. just one of those things that can annoy a person
malinda1229 1 Posted September 7, 2010 I'm down 35 and the rings are spinning and I'm careful when my hands are wet. I'm going to go to Walmart and buy a 3mm white gold band that is smaller than my current rings and slip that on till I get to goal and have them sized. MrsCabes 2 Posted September 7, 2010 Congratulations - what a good "problem" to have! I just got back IN to my wedding ring and my husband plans on recreating a whole new ring for me when I hit my goal weight. <---maybe you can work out a deal with YOUR hubby?
irene2502 0 Posted September 7, 2010 carolwright.com sells ring guards really cheap that might work for you.
AngryBaby 2 Posted September 7, 2010 look into getting "ring snuggies" (roughly $3.00 and you can buy them online) they are basically sizers that will help you wear your rings if they are getting too loose. The only problem I've come across is that my fingers are even too small to fit into my rings WITH the snuggies on... So I just wear my ring as a necklace and when I get to goal (close to the time I'm getting married) my guy is just going to buy me a new set of rings. MizKelly 2 Posted September 7, 2010 I stopped wearing my wedding ring because I didn't want to chance losing it. I have several different bands that I trade out or I wear the first ring that hubby ever bought me.
all4gizmo 2 Posted September 7, 2010 I have the same issue. the ring guards were awesome the first week they were on the rings but as I worked they flattened out and were just uncomfortable.. I went online and bought a really nice looking cubic and silver wedding band set.. you can get them cheap enough now and they are surprisingly real looking; my co=workers thought I got an upgrade from my hubby.... this is just until I reach goal then I'll have my real ones re-sized.. Good luck!!
