zeniada 9 Posted September 1, 2010 As most of you have read I am 6 days post op and had my surgery on the 26th of Aug. I have always had left shoulder pain but today parts of my left arm are swollen and painful as if there were balloons under the skin...Is That Gas?? If it is, is there a way to get rid of it? Or do i have to just wait it out?

spoiltmom 44 Posted September 2, 2010 If your arm is swollen I'd call the doc just to be safe.
zeniada 9 Posted September 4, 2010 Hi all just a little update...it turns out that my IV site got a little infection and that is what was causing the pain redness and swelling....so now i'm taking antibiotics and forgot to ask for liquid and have to cut up the pill into 4 tiny pieces....Oh well I hope to be feeling better soon...
