tracey gomez 0 Posted August 31, 2010 Hello Kristy, My name is Tracey and just got my band on the 27th of August. This was a chance of my life time and I am so happy that I did it! Just like anything else in life it was not easy but it is a decision that I will not regret. It of course hurt a bit, but don't all surgeries. I was not scared at all and the pain subsided after only a few days. I know that it will all be worth it at the end. Do not be scared and just think of the payoff. Good luck and take care:smile2::cursing:
Crispaholic 7 Posted August 31, 2010 Hey! Kirsty, I got my band on the 1st of July....best decision I ever made....only advice I would give is to get a variety of liquids for the liquid stage of your post op diet as you can get bored....get fruit juices and make ice cubes to suck....ice lollies....yoghurts etc....also dissolvable Vitamin tablets for the post op stage as your energy levels can be low as your only on liquids during the post op stage....ask lots of questions regarding post op after care and make sure you walk around after the operation as this helps healing and takes your mind off food ....best of luck :cursing:
