Maybe you have geographic tongue.

Geographic tongue - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Elcee - I have to admit that I giggled when I saw geographic tongue - but no....I don't have anything like what they list there.

I'm really, really glad to hear how well your son is doing--the fact that he's had such a healthy life since such an early diagnosis is a real testament to excellent parenting---and it sounds like he's internalized all the things he will need to have a wonderful, healthy life. What a wonderful gift you've given him.

you need carbs. Good quality un-refined, low gi carbs. Ketosis is good for short periods but I believe the fact that it burns so much fat means it releases lots of toxins into your blood that your kidneys will struggle with.

I agree with this poster. Make sure u r drinking lots of Water.< /p>

My boss was floowing Atkins and was in ketosis and his breath was horrible. I could smell it from quite a distance lol. So beware of that too :cursing:

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
