RyanZ 0 Posted August 28, 2010 Alrighty I have a question that my nutrionist said during the pre-surgery meeting about our post diet. I didn't think about asking the question WHY! During weeks 5-7 when I can eat Soft Foods I'm not to Drink 1hr Prior to eating, nor 2hrs after eating. Example. 7am-Drink 8am-Eat 10-am Drink again Please help me understand why I'm doing this again lol. I understand no drinking while I eat.
thin in 2011 0 Posted August 28, 2010 My dr states that I can drink up until the time I eat, but not for 1 1/2 hours afterwards. This is supposed to help you stay full so you don't overeat and the food stays in the pouch longer. It looks as if you have lost ALOT of weight already-keep doing what you are doing!! It seems to be working! :-) I had my 3rd fill a week ago and am just now feeling alot of restriction, which is good. Keep up the great work:thumbup:
quattro9999 0 Posted August 28, 2010 It washes the food down instead of the band holding the food making you feel full.
sharcorb 0 Posted August 28, 2010 If I have anything to drink on top of food, it comes back up. (The liquid, not the food) I definitely follow this rule and wait at least an hour to drink! Usually closer to 2. Sharon
