elcee 3,341 Posted September 8, 2010 I mix food all the time too - depending on what I'm eating. If it's a roast I eat the foods seperately but I eat lots of casserole type dishes and I then mix it up further by eating them with the rice! The only problem when you do this is if you do get stuck you have no idea what food was the problem.

Cocoabean 430 Posted December 4, 2010 Hi! What is PB ing and Sliming? I am 6 weeks post op and I just joined the site...I keep reading about PB ing and Sliming. Thanks! Hi Misty, welcome! PB is productive burp. When you burp and you bring up something. Like when a baby spits up milk. Some also use the term when referring to bringing up the offending item during a stuck episode. Slime is the mucous produced by the body during a stuck episode. It is clear and very clingy. When a bite of something gets lodged between the little pouch and the stomach below the body makes copious amounts of the stuff in a effort to help it go down. If the hole is well and truly blocked the slime has no where to go but up and out the mouth. It continues until you get unstuck. It is not a pretty sight. Somewhere on here (not sure where now since the format has changed)...you can find a FAQ with a glossary of some of our more commonly used terms. If I can find it, I'll shoot you the link. hamltmom 0 Posted December 6, 2010 Just an FYI. Be careful! I get sick a lot with my band. I've developed a bad case of Reflux since I was banded January 2010. I've had to have my band unfilled completely twice now and need to go back again for a slight unfill. At least I'm hoping it'll only be a slight unfill. The last unfill was because my band had "twisted" due to the retching (?) that I was doing. I just got my last fill about 3 weeks ago and have been trying to wait out this last bought. I know, not so smart because it makes my esophagus get so swollen that it just keeps getting worse and worse. Anyway, good luck and please try not to throw up if at all possible.
