marissa1k 0 Posted August 26, 2010 I had my first fill last Thursday, and I got 2 cc's. The fill itself was totally fine, didn't hurt a bit, but after I got really light headed and a little woozy. It went away in a few hours. Today I went to get another fill, and got 1 cc added, because I felt exactly the same as a I did before. That fill went fine, but again, I'm light headed, my vision is a little blurry, and I'm a bit woozy. Did that happen to anyone? Could it be from the fasting a few hours before hand? DodgerFan 0 Posted August 26, 2010 Probably a combo of the fasting before (if your doc requires that, mine doesn't) and a little nervous anticipation. I a blood donor so not afraid of needles, but I get a little nervousness before a fill. Not sure why.
jiminyt 0 Posted August 27, 2010 It's a defence mechanism that your bady kicks in when something (the needle) invades it. It causes a temporary drop in blood pressure and gives you that woozy feeling. Just take it easy after your fills and let your brain reset itself.
