gbakerc 2 Posted August 26, 2010 Well.... I seem to have fallen of course. My last fill was in March and I did get significant restriction. The problem is I stopped going to support group and I have gained around 10 pounds. Not really down about it but I just let it get away from me. Went away from this board which has always helped me. I am going to face the music today and get a fill under flouro. Any tips on how to get back on track would be helpful. I am expecting a stern lecture from my doctor today. Mimilou2004 13 Posted August 26, 2010 It is not the end of the world, you can always pick up where you left off. I have to admit, sometimes it is just boring to work the band and a little break is what is needed. Please don't go in shamefaced like the doctor is your parent or judge/jury. You took a break and now you are ready to engage again. In days gone by you probably would have gained even more and not had this tool to help you!!!! Keep reading and posting. Best wishes, Mimi
reverie 49 Posted August 26, 2010 Well, first off, congrats on what you have lost, and congrats and catching the problem early before it gets too out of hand and wanting to correct it. You know the band rules; start to follow them again. Get your fill and start to watch your portions. Count your calories and make sure you get all of your Water in. Good luck and you can do this! vlp1968 83 Posted August 26, 2010 If your doc. is a good one- he won't berate you. You seem very ready to get back on track. You know what to do- you can do this! I highly reccoment starting a workout routine if you haven't already. I increased my intensity and the scale has started moving again. Good luck!
