Tally23 0 Posted August 24, 2010 Ok so I had what I think was a stuck episode last night. But this morning I still feel like I have something stuck in my throat. Everything that I eat goes down ok and no slimmies. So I am thinking because of all the coughing and the few dry heaves that "it feels" like something is there but it really isnt? Does this make sense? Anyone else feel this way.
Sue Magoo 71 Posted August 24, 2010 Hi: You may have some swelling today because of being stuck yesterday. You should probably do liquids today to let your digestive system rest. Sue

Momto3redheads 18 Posted August 24, 2010 Yea I have had that happen...it is miserable. Sometimes after getting stuck or getting a fill you are swollen and it takes a bit of time to heal....hang in there!
cwm812 11 Posted August 24, 2010 Try drinking really cold drinks or eating ice cream. For me the coldness, reduces the swelling (I think) and that feeling goes away. I still stay on liquids or mushy for another day or so. Cindy
dean123 0 Posted August 24, 2010 I am about a year out come November. There are times in the mornings when I first try to eat, that I get in a hurry and the band stops that really fast. Then once I get over the stuck episode, sometimes with some heavy watery mouth. I am usually better as long as I slow down. Remember to just take it slow and if you have just had a fill do liquids for at least a full day to allow your stomach time to get less swollen.
