hello to all from Illinois.

I was banded in 3/09 and have lost 60 pounds. I am struggling a bit and am looking forward to hearing from others. I had the procedure done at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet by Dr. Brian Lahmann. He is a fantastic surgeon and a great source of support.

He along woth Dr. Joyce have a program setup that is second to none.

I am interested in hearing from people that have had the band done a while ago

and the ups and downs they have been through.

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
