Does anyone eat oatmeal?

I never eat it and the times that I have, I've hated it. However, it's a good carb. Is it considered a slider food? If so, how do you make it not be a slider food?

Well, I love oatmeal! Try the Quaker Instant Cinnamon Roll or Maple Brown Sugar. I make mines with milk to make it thicker and I stay full for at least 4 hour hours if I pair it with egg whites. Of course the above recommended is not the healthiest oatmeal because of the sugar but it tastes a whole lot better!

I love oatmeal. I make plain with some sweet-and-lo artificial sweetner or add some no fat sugarfree chocolate mix to it. Raisins are a nice addition if you chew them well, as is any kind of fresh fruit or yoghurt. I make the whole oatmeal but don't cook it to mush.

Well, my definition of a slider food is one that doesn't stay in the pouch as long as it should (ie... slide's right through - like a milkshake)

Oatmeal is not a slider food for most people because it has some roughage to it. It is an excellent carb and has Protein too! Unfortunately it's one of those foods that give some people real fits. You may have to thin it out to get it to stay down.

I love oatmeal and eat it all the time. Even with no fill, I found oatmeal filled me up for nearly 4 hours ( unlike everything else I ate).

It is a great healthy thing to eat

I have just started eating oatmeal and before I just could NOT believe that one of those little packets was ACTUALLY a serving!! (Ha!). Now I make it in a little bowl and eat it with my tiny sterling silver baby spoon and chew, chew, chew. Stays with me for a loooooong time.

I looooove oatmeal! I make plain oatmeal on the stove (not instant) using skim milk instead of Water. Once it is done, I add no-calorie sweetener and pecans. I've also sprinkled in a 1/2 scoop of vanilla Protein powder in with the oatmeal for another way to sweeten it up.

I love oatmeal. I use the 'quick' kind that has to be cooked for about 5 minutes or so. I nuke it with milk then add either natural applesauce or a smashed banana into it. I split it with my daughter for Breakfast (hers gets just a touch of splenda added). nummy!

I do a pkg of instant oatmeal with no sugar added and a scoop of unflavbored Protein. As I am still on mushies it's one of the few things I find "sticks to the ribs" and keeps me satisfied a while.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
