jane uk 0 Posted August 21, 2010 Hi, My name is Jane, and I live in England. I think that this site is very good, and there is more to it than the ones in the UK. I am having my band on the 24th August 2010, and would welcome any advice, or support. It would also be good to make some buddies from overseas who are in the same position as me, to share the experience with. Thanks, Jane

honk 780 Posted August 26, 2010 Hi. Not sure what UK doctors have you eat after surgery but here are some thoughts. I found buying chicken Stock was much better than Chicken broth. Gave a lot more flavor. Also when you can move to full liquids I really enjoy Greek Yogurt which is higher in Protein than the regular stuff we get here in the US (mine has 17 grams protein for 6 ounces). I take it out of it's original container and put it in a bowl and add several tablespoons vanilla whey Protein Powder, unflavored Fiber powder, Splenda (fake sweetener sold in the US), and a tablespoon fat free milk. I use a "stick blender and mix everything together and mince up the fruit from the yogurt. Tastes fabulous!
