Angela G 0 Posted August 17, 2010 This might be weird but I have to ask... I was banded on June 15th and since then I have had symptoms on ovulation(i.e. cramps, fatigue, bloating, the normal stuff) but have not actually had a period. There is absolutely no way that I am pregnant so at this point I am just confused. Anyone else have this problem? Is this "normal"
OnTheWay to Thin 0 Posted August 17, 2010 Both surgery and weight loss throw your cycle off. We women store estrogen in our fat, so the issues post surgery run the gamet of having too many periods, none and so on for a few months. Hang in there it will get back to normal. Sooz 0 Posted August 17, 2010 If you haven't had a gynecological exam lately it's not a bad idea to cover your bases. I have self-diagnosed everything that is wrong with me physically to being overweight, only to find out during the pre-req tests that I actually have some issues unrelated. I've whined about all the procedures my surgeon required, only to have it hit home how neglectful I have been of my health, especially "female issues" over the years.
