Eating more 10 days after my first fill

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post after being banded on June 16. Since then, I've lost 22 lbs and am really happy. I had my first fill on July 27 of 3.5 cc's in my 11cc Realize band. I had felt full for hours with a relatively small meal for the first 8 or 9 days, but then I began eating larger portions and getting hungrier quicker. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and why it happens?

You may have had some swelling that took a while to go down. It took me 3 fills to feel restriction. You may want to call your doc. and see if you can get in sooner to get another fill. I wish I had done that. Good luck!
