Ok, so been posting on here how uncomfortable I have been still a week after surgery i can barley get Water in so after a painful night last night I called the dr. and went in this morning...and he ended going into my port to see if there was somehow some Fluid left in there from the test hey did on it, my dr. does not leave any fluid in normally...well he withdrew 2cc's!! I can only hope that is what caused all my discomfort when I should be feeling better a week after!!! I still am having some cramping but I havnt eat anything yet today...so cross your fingers that this will help me feel better! I am sure in a few days when im starving I will wish I had it back in but my first fill is sept 7th and hopefully I can wait that long!!

The same thing happened to me, except I had 4 cc's left in. I was miserable and in the hospital for 5 days because of it. I couldn't keep anything down. As soon as he withdrew the Fluid, things have been 100% better! I am still afraid to eat too much though.

Good luck!

My doctor planned to give me a slight fill of 2CC's at surgery. Drinking at first was little sips at a time but I could do it. After a few days... I could take normal sips without a problem. Everyone is different though and our tolerences for fills may not be the same. My first fill took me to 3.5 CC's and back to the small sips for a few days. My second fill the doc wouldn't tell me how much but again... small sips for a few days. Hope this info helps!
