danide 0 Posted August 4, 2010 Congratulations on your journey thus far. As far as the shoulder pain... I read in another forum about hiatal hernia repair, everyone was experiencing shoulder pain due to a nerve next to or within the diaphram. Most people said it lasts abour 6 weeks before it really goes away.

Isa Bella 0 Posted August 4, 2010 Congrats on your weight loss. I was banded on July 19th & had hiatal hernia repair also. I still experience gas pains in my shoulder occasionally. My Dr told me sometimes the port rubs against the diaphram and causes gas. I walk it off. That seems to be the quickest way to releive the pain. Wishing you continued success :blushing:
skisteve 0 Posted August 4, 2010 Congrats on the weight loss! What do you think has been the hardest thing so far? I cant say a bad word the worst pain has been in my shoulder bearable but it hurts off and on eating well it will get back to normal soon. It is worth every minute of it
