My name is Aline I'm fr Brazil but have been living in Oregon for 12years...I'm a hapilly married mama of 3. I have always been a little on the heavy side but can hide it well because I'm 6'4"....I made a decision to change my life after my mom died at 60 from diabetes complications and a sudden heart attack. She wasn't obese just overweight and she always worried about me becoming a diabetic and was worried when I accumulated 120lbs over the period of 8 years while I had my kids.

I started my lap-band journey in February and am scheduled for surgery on Aug 13th. Which is also the one year anniversary date of my mom's burrial. I think my affair with food and bad habits is coming to an end and full circle. I owe this to my family and my health!

I'm looking for new friends and supporters, so if you took the time to read my post plz add me! :wub:
