AmberK 5 Posted August 2, 2010 I've been on a low carb/high Protein diet for the past 2 weeks. Surgery is on Wednesday. I've been on vacation for the past 9 days but know that I have done well with my eating because some shorts that were too tight on me when I started the diet are now completely loose. AmberK 5 Posted August 2, 2010 yes- I always weigh first thing in the morning with no clothes on. I did think back and realized that I didn't drink enough Water. So I may be retaining some Water too. I know whats really important is the liver shrinkage but its still discouraging to know you did pretty well and feel like you have lost weight but the scale doesnt move.
