wbowman07 0 Posted July 30, 2010 In your Protein Shakes that you make add a teaspoon of Peanut Butter which makes it alot better to handle.
lauragshsu 6 Posted July 30, 2010 A few days of clear liquid diet with Protein Shakes is easy. I had three weeks.
Knaroz 31 Posted July 30, 2010 Yeah I had 2 weeks preop and that was during July 4th lol. Went to two cookouts. Think I "ate" about 10 pounds of ice lol. Just remember, the better you stick to this, the easier and safer the surgery will be. I lost 16 lbs during the two weeks, my surgery took less than 30 min. Dr said it was the cleanest he has seen in awhile and it was due to sticking rigidly to the diet, getting the liver down. You can do it...Just trust yourself!! wbowman07 0 Posted July 30, 2010 Look at ideas which others have done. Also google Protein Shakes that are sugar free. For everything, it has a common other product to go with it. I had my surgery this past Tuesday and I love the liquids more now compared to pre surgery.
jenontheband 0 Posted July 30, 2010 Are you coffee drinkers? It could be caffeine withdrawals. I am still drinking coffee along with my shakes. Maybe that's it?
