banded_for_life 2 Posted December 2, 2005 There have been alot of banders who have done that very thing. But the guidelines set forth by your dr is so your tummy and band have time to heal. So you might want to follow what ever your guidelines are. The first weeks are hard, but you get through them one day at a time.

DiSanders 1 Posted December 5, 2005 Another twin mom! Mine are 14, though-girls. They have been a big support to me during this band saga. My new band incisions feel a lot like my c-section!
twin mom 0 Posted December 5, 2005 My twins are 8 now. Both boys. They are wonderful children. But they do try my patience every day!
Jachut 487 Posted December 5, 2005 I know I'm going to struggle with this. I tend to think I'm invincible and I know I tend to get over things like surgery very quickly. I will not be the least bit surprised if I sit there in two weeks time thinking about eating toast. Its going to be especially hard over Christmas.
