Hi my name is Sumer as is in the season, Summer. I was banded 5 days ago (July 20th). The first few days were a little rough, but things are slowly getting better. I am excited about my band, and hope to gain some knowledge from all you banders!:smile2:

Hi Sumer,

I too am very new at this. I got banded on July 9th. But I can tell you I have found this site to be very helpful especially when I am feeling a little isolated and frustrated. The beginning is a big change that is tough. This site was recommended by a friend and I am glad she told me about it. I have found answers to a lot of questions. Good luck to you!:smile2:

Best of luck to both of you! This site has answered alot of my questions. From when I was newly banded until now, lots of good information but be careful for some of the bad or misleading info as well.

I am new to this site as well.....I am scheduled for Monday, 7-26-10 to be banded. I have a lot of different emotions going on.....scared, nervous, anxious etc. Reading things help a lot. Best to you all!!
