I recommend this website: www.allearsnet.com for any info you need...they have a section on weather, and post the average temps for each month. I was at WDW last December, and you have to pack all those things! It rains, so you need all that stuff. It was cold enough one night that we had to buy sweatshirts, and we were still cold! Think LAYERS! Also, we always got a locker at whatever park we were in, and stashed rain stuff, first aid stuff, etc in a back pack, and put it in the locker. That way, we didn't have to carry it, but it was there if we needed it. Get the best forecast you can from weather channel or weather bug, and then pack layered things that you can add or subtract as you go! Have fun! I'm so envious! Cindy

If you are going to park hop also remember to get a reciept for your locker and then get another locker in the next park, if you show the reciept you get a discount on the second locker rental in the same day. We were there in October and it was still hot but, my mom goes in Jan and she wears a short sleeve shirt and hoodie in the mornings and then removes the hoodie and ties it around her waist during the day and puts it back on at night, the night air can be chilly. Have fun and have a dole whip for me~Mandy

Ok, I think I got it. Should I expect temps to be about 65-70 or is that asking too much???

heya, i'm in lakeland/plantcity which is about 45minutes down the interstate from orlando. today we've got a bit of a coldfront coming thru, it's 61 outside and i'm freezing my bootylicious off!! brrrrrrr! i've got the heater on, i can't handle the cold!!! i don't know how long the coldfront will last but i got by today with jeans and sweatshirt. usually florida is t-shirt and shorts most of the year. i don't know where you are from but 61 might be pleasent to you, while it's freezing to me. check the puter before you come and if no cold front you'll definately want to bring shorts and tees, and comfy shoes if you're doing the parks. most of the parks have Water rides that you can get pretty wet on so you might want to consider that if you rent a locker at the parks. oh, don't forget the rain, rain can pour at the drop of a hat here!! parkas are in ALL the gift shops throughout the parks tho. hmmm, is that all i can warn you about???....oh, watch out for sharks and gators and you're all set :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
