Tropicana 0 Posted December 1, 2005 I have called my insurance carrier everyday....sometimes twice a day...trying to see if I have been approved or not. Everyday they tell me to keep waiting. I know they keep a log of when we call and what answer is given so I hope they don't think I'm a nuisance. But damn!! I really need to know! vIt's been 20 days since they got it and 13 since they've reviewed it. They ssaid 15 days to get a decision and 30 to get it in the mail...my goodness!!! live2canoe 1 Posted December 1, 2005 You just keep on being a nuisance. It is too easy for them to 'forget' you if you're not a nuisance. I hope you have good news from them soon.

banded_for_life 2 Posted December 1, 2005 Yep, I agree with what has been said. I felt the same way, but the only way to know is to pursue the issue. Don't let up.
Lisa*in*NJ 0 Posted December 1, 2005 Keep calling, maybe they will hurry up so they don't have to hear from you any more! Good luck, I am hoping for my answer tomorrow from BCBS
texasvixxen 0 Posted December 1, 2005 Nope, you're not being a nuisance. It's the squeaky wheel that gets the oil! Stay on top of them. Best of luck to you!!
Mrs Sabre 1 Posted December 1, 2005 I'm right there with you; I call at least every 2-3 days. My problem isn't the insurance company yet; my Dr hasn't gotten my packet out. Although I have to admit that I keep having tests that end up further supporting my surgery. Every time it's close to going out, another test result comes into my surgeon's office.
