missgypsy 1 Posted July 17, 2010 well usually when i am stressed i eat...not this time. i just feel sick to my stomach. i found out earlier today my twin sister passed away- we're 38. my heart is broke...and i don't feel like eating at all. i did manage to choke down some dinner for the kids sake. my hubby is military so i had to do the entire red cross thing so they could contact him and get him home. he will be home later tonight. this is all so new to me because usually i eat. it's crossed my mind but it just doesn't sound good at all to me. i just want to know how people deal with stress and the band. all new to me since i was banded may 20th. thank you, gypsy

monkeymama 0 Posted July 17, 2010 Ohh sweetie.... I am so sorry to hear this. Kudos to you for not turning to food... sometimes a hard core workout is great for releasing stress and elevating your feel good hormones. This cannot be easy for you. Prayers coming your way... momofwaz 0 Posted July 17, 2010 I am also so sorry for your loss. I hope your husband is able to come home soon to comfort you. I would agree with the other posting regarding the workout to relieve some stress. Often times I would rather not exercise, but after I do it, I feel better.
