Surgery on August 2nd and Looking for Advice

Hi Everyone:

I am looking for some advice on how to get off of coffee and diet coke. I drink about 3 to 4 cups of black coffee with 1 sweet & low and drink 1 diet coke a day. I work from 4 pm to 12 am Monday through Friday and have a 6 and 9 year old that keep my busy during the day so caffeine is my friend.

I have also been trying the 2 week pre-surgical diet. I use Slimfast Low-Carb 3 times a day and make one meal with a Protein, vegetable and either rice or Pasta. I am thinking of adding 2 salads because what I have read I can have as much salad as I want as long as I stay within 3 tablespoons of fat free dressing.

Any advice would be great. I have lost 3 pounds in 2 weeks and hope to lose a little more before surgery.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.
