Curious about your hernia repair

Hi there,

I was curious about your hernia repairs. I know quite a few of us had them. I was wondering did you have an extra inscision from it? My Dr had to make a 3.5 inch inscision along with my 4 normal ones to fix my hernia. I meant to ask him if that was the norm or if he just couldn't access mine. How about you?

I had hernia repair and I have the four normal little inscisions and a larger one that is the port site :thumbup:)

Well I can tell you from working in the OR it could be a number of things the biggest one being anatomy. Maybe with your anatomy, they just couldn't access the site well enough to do a quality repair.
