wow- this is so new way of thinking. Had staples out monday healed well- really can only see large spot still the small one have healed nice. No pain found out dr did put band in with a small fill to start me off. i have only been drinking the shakes (yuck) i have been trying to find one that i can stand but no luck yet. i must have 4 different one in the house now. if anyone has a fav let me know. I was weighed in and have lost 5lbs just the past week I'll take it. next dr visit is the 13 and i hope i get the ok to move to puree food.< /p>

Congrats! It's been almost a week for me too, I was banded last Friday. As for the shakes, I know what you mean, it does get a little boring after a while, especially since they don't all taste all that great. Plus it's not always super obvious to cram in all the required daily Proteins with those.

I heard and read good things about powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury but I haven't tried it yet. I ordered the chocolate and vanilla, I'll let you know how it turns out when I get them.

I like the 100% whey Protein from Optimum Nutrition in vanilla Ice Cream. I make it with Soy Slender Vanilla flavor, which would be considered a full liquid.

I also have the unjury unflavored which is OK for a change, but definitely turns my broth sort of frothy when I blend it in with my hand blender. I haven't tried it added to anything except soup/broth, so it might not do that if I mix it in with Crystal Light or something similar.
