Tally23 0 Posted June 30, 2010 So I had my last appt with my surgeon today. It only took 15 minutes... He is like so do you want surgery? YESSSSS... why the h*ll do you think Ive done all this c*ap... LOL... So the papers should be heading into the insurance shortly. I think I have a little bit of an advantage because my company has its own insurance which is located in the same state. So my papers do not have far to travel but of course with the holiday I expect it to take longer then usual. I am so excited and I can hardly wait. I am trying to stay positive that it will be approved. Im so sick of doctors now, between the pancreatitis and this Ive had atleast 5-6 appts every month for the past 6 months. To add ontop of that I have seen a huge increase in patients that I see that have had the gastric bypass and are just horrible. They state that if they could do it over again then they would have never done it...I try to remind myself they had surgery how many years ago, things have changed and they had the bypass not the lap band... Im trying to stay positive but having this one patient atleast every week with negative comments about it is a real bummer. Not only that but my co-workers seem the have a thing against it as well.
