So i'm unsure if what just happened to be was pb or just throwing up Water. Fair warning the description is kind of gross:

About twenty minutes ago I felt like I was going to throw up even though all I had was water. I tried not to and went to sleep but then woke up and ran to the bathroom knowing it was going to happen. Just as I made I started making these repeatative belching noises and water was coming on. I have no idea if it is PB'ing, since I have never done that, or just throwing up water. Can anyone help me with this? Should I call my doctor in the morning? I've only been banded three weeks, I don't even have a fill yet. :)

You should certainly call your Dr in the morning. I don't know how much Water you drank or if you did it too fast but being sick to your stomach should not happen with just water. PB'ing is a result, often, of food just not moving or eating it too quickly. If all you had was water and you didn't drink too much of it or too quickly it might be a bug. It is always ok to check with your dr if you are concerned about something.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
