khrazyluv 0 Posted July 21, 2010 Sorry Darlene haven't had the surgery yet but am in Dutchess County. Although, you may be able to help me with finding support groups in the area and Pychiatrist that don't charge you an arm and a leg for the evaluation...I would appreciate any help you can give me. stivyrocks 0 Posted October 12, 2010 Just had the band on October 6th. I go to Middletown NY at Dr. Kwon's office. It is about a half an hour from Newburgh. Amazing office with support groups on Mondays at 6, Tuesdays in the morning, Wednesday exercise group 6 and a Thursday group at 6. I teach in Rhinebeck and live in Catskill. This organization is awesome, plus they have a psychatrist (mispelled).
SUCCESSFUL4LIFE 0 Posted October 24, 2010 Which surgeon is doing your surgery? I'm having mind done by Dr. Wayne Weiss who is partners with Dr. Kwon. They have an office in Middletown, NY & also an office in Fishkill, NY. They have a Physiciatrist that is credentialed with most major insurance companies so that all you'd pay is a co-pay. They also offer support groups in Middletown 3times per week & once a week in Fishkill. In their Middletown office they also have an exercise group that meets once a week. The support groups are free. Give them a call - Tri-State Bariatrics
