kimmcneely 1 Posted November 27, 2005 Well, I am 4 months out now and have never had any problems until now. I have started to have tremendous pain right between my breast and upper chest when I eat anything. Even drink things like tea or milk. I had a fill over a month ago and didn't experience these complications until now. I haven't been able to eat much at all. As a matter of fact I have lost between 10 to 15 lbs in the last couple of weeks, which in itself is exciting, but I don't want to mess this up. I want to make sure it is done correctly. Any suggestions from you veterans or anyone else who has had similiar complications?
CLMinFla 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Kim, you might want to call the Dr. The band could have gotten tighter.. they do sometime.. or it could have slipped.. they can do a florascope and look at the band and see if it is in the correct place... I pray all is OK... I have been having alot of reflux and they did a flora on me a couple of weeks ago, and found the band at 90 degrees and not at 45 where the dr. put it and wanted it... I asked what should I do and they did not really tell me if that is a problem.. I go back in Dec. and I guess they will see what it is doing then.
kimmcneely 1 Posted November 27, 2005 I keep thinking too that it has to do with my esophagus because it does feel like some sort of spasm. It just comes and goes. I think I will go ahead and call Spivak on Monday just to be sure because I am getting some awful headaches with these as well. Thanks!
AdMan 0 Posted November 27, 2005 The thought of chest pains scares the hell out of me due to a fear of a heart attack. How do you know that it's not a heart attack and there's no need to call 911? Brian
