Guest cateyes Posted November 25, 2005 Hello, I had GBP surgery in 1998 & ended up having a revision due to a blockage. I am now thinking of having the lap band but want to know is there any one out there that has had this done, if so how are you doing & what Dr. did your surgery? Any info will help. It's me-Debbydo 0 Posted November 26, 2005 I met a doc recently at an obesity talk for nurses. Dr. Sapala. Does revisions and has been practicing in baitrics simce the 1970's. There's a tecniques that is patented under his name for bypass. Anyway he was also in the clinical trials for the band. He seemed bery knowledgable with the alternatives. Good luck on your journey
