Strange throat noises

Anybody have noise coming from their throat after they eat and drink? It's almost like I have a bird in my throat and other people can hear. ...

Is it a burp? Can I do something to stop it? Idea's:confused:

I know what you mean - tair seems to percolate up your throat and it gurgles?

This happens to me often and it can be embarrassing because its almost like you've burped!

LOL. Totally know what you're talking about. I think it's just whatever you swallowed making its way through the band. I've gotten many a strange look from people for that. Since I most certainly did NOT burp, I usually just give a shy smile and a shrug. It helps when the people I'm with know I have a band - easier to explain. But yeah - really sucks when your mouth happens to be open right at that particular moment.

As soon as I read this my throat did the same thing. My fill nurse calls them Chewbacca noises. It's embarrassing when you're talking and then these weird noises come out at the same time.

Between that and the band noises sometimes you get some really strange looks!
