HAL380 0 Posted June 15, 2010 Talk to you Dr. If there is a delay would probably be only a few days. Hal
jingleboob 5 Posted June 15, 2010 Oh no!!! Call your Dr ASAP!!! Maybe they can push it back just long enough for you to get well, or maybe it's not that bad and they can do the surgery. I'd be bumming too. This makes me seriously consider being a hand sanitizing freak in a mask for the couple weeks before surgery... kids bring home everything and I usually get it! Let us know how it goes!!! Fingers crossed for you
crsti41 0 Posted June 15, 2010 Could the cause be just allergies?
callista 0 Posted June 15, 2010 I think that's psychological. We usually feel sick when we're tense about any surgery done to our body. Just relax and get enough rest so it won't get worse.
dreamingofbeingskinny 1 Posted June 15, 2010 Ok So I went straight to bed after posting that last night and I am feeling better this morning. I do think some may be allergies and stress. Unfortunately I work in the healthcare feild, so I am exposed to germs on a constant basis. For the next few days I am going to steer clear and b a sanitizer freak and get lots of rest. Thanks for all the thoughts. I appreciate them!
snoopy11 0 Posted June 15, 2010 I had a sinus infection last week. Surgery tomorrow--i called doc last week and told them and nurse told me that unless I was running fever on day of surgery there was nothing to worry about!!!
waynooo 1 Posted June 15, 2010 Same thing happened to me. Two days before had a pretty good sore throat that developed into a cough. I was so stressed! Went to my primary care physician to get a release, had to cause I made a stink about it. Day of surgery the only one that was concerned with it was the anesthesiologist, checked to make sure the lungs were O.K. and no fever. He gave the thumbs up and off we went. Which was good cause its a four hour drive for me.
thejourney 2 Posted June 15, 2010 The same thing happened to me. I called my doctor, he gave me some advice and some directions - I did not have a fever. Please call your doctor! You will feel reassured. My surgery was not delayed.
