pamela 10 Posted November 23, 2005 Hi, lace. I'm pretty sure that Dr Sivak doesnt finance for self-payers. You either pay the $15,000 upfront out of your pocket or put it in a credit card -- or you can apply for financing with one of the agencies that loans $$$ for health surgeries. I think Dr Spivak may have some financing application forms in his office -- or you can do an online search for something like Weight Loss Surgery Loan. Capitol One has a special health surgery finance program. Good luck! Yep! This was my experience with his office... all up front! ~pamela.
mrshudson 0 Posted November 30, 2005 I was self pay with Dr. Spivak. I used Capital One financing, and the payments are like $390 something for 5 years. If you can afford it, it is east to get approved. They always ask you if you have any supplemental income, and how much, and they don 't verify it. As long as ypuir credit is good you will get approved instantly. Dr. Spivak will schedule your appointment as soon as you are approved. It took me 2 weeks to get in.
