joecs1 4 Posted June 5, 2010 I am 11 days post op and I am very happy with my decision to be banded. I have been fatigued and cold, but other than that great. My issue is that I keep getting choked up almost to the point of an all out cry! WTH is goin on with that? I am not assamed to cry for good reason but this has happened 5-6 times since surgery over stupid stuff!
Mrs. Plumpy 0 Posted June 5, 2010 I'm the same way, all it takes is something even slightly sad and I'm crying. You should have seen me last week at the end of the 24 finale, balling like a baby! I'm sure normally my eyes would have started watering alittle because I love that show but this was just crazy. I wonder how long this cold, sleepy, emotional stage lasts...? Laura Lane 0 Posted June 5, 2010 it took me about a month to stop feeling sad and strange. i started taking long walks during the morning and that really helped me, and if i wanted to cry, i'd cry until i felt better.
cbbrink 0 Posted June 8, 2010 This can be a side effect of the anesthesia. Not sure how long it can last, but I would definitely say that is the cause. Good Luck. Chuck
123crod 170 Posted June 8, 2010 A good cry is good for you. I was mourning my diet coke in those early days. I am STILL mourning my diet coke 10 months later. You are going through a huge change in your life it is normal to be emotional!! Cheri
