MrsCDub 0 Posted June 4, 2010 Hello everyone, I am new and just wanted to say hi. My weight is 175 and I am 4ft 9in and I have been a diabetic for 15 years. I have an appt with my primary care doctor in 2 weeks to get regular blood work done and to also get a referral to a lap band surgeon. I hope to have the surgery in a couple of months. anjamarty 0 Posted June 5, 2010 Hi, Iam new here also. I am also military and am on Tricare prime. I went for a referral on a Friday, saw my surgeon the next week on Thursday and got approved 1 week later for the surgery. I will be banded on July 1, five weeks after going for a referral.
