Firecallie 2 Posted November 22, 2005 Please ease my mind. I've taken 2 Vitamins and have had about 3 bottles of Water today. Will I get sick from lack of nutrition. I cannot stand Soup and today haven't been able to make myself eat it. So i've had virtually nothing to eat all day. I'm sitting here thinking "this is only day 4, you can't do this for 10 more days...its not healthy you'll be sick by the end of it". Tell me that this isn't true...and it's just my head wanting food.< /p>

NJChick 3 Posted November 22, 2005 Can you drink chick broth / bullion ? I was on Clear Liquids for 14 days, which was broth, juice, apple, cranberry, ice pops. I did fine. Don't stress out to much b/c your gonna make yourself sick. Call your doctor and talk to him tomorrow. Tell him your situation and see what he says. The reason they want you on liquids is to heal on the inside so be very careful. What about Protein drinks....there's a clear one called Isopure. I know your scared but just try to relax... and again, call your Doctor tomorrow. HUGS

Spydr 0 Posted November 22, 2005 Jini - You and I are only days apart and on the same rocky ride. I average about 200 calories a day and have to push to get that. I try not to look at calories right now as I need the other things more than I need to "diet". I force some kind of creamy Soup down every day. Even if it's 1/4 of a cup, I feel like it's helping me get ready for the mushie stage. Also try the Frussion smoothies from Dannon. Just a different taste to help keep you interested. banded_for_life 2 Posted November 22, 2005 Make sure you are getting your protien in. You really need that to heal. Look at some Isopure, it is clear, but has good Protein.< /p>
