missgypsy 1 Posted May 31, 2010 Hi. I'm new here and thought I'd go ahead and introduce myself. My name is Gypsy and I live in Lawton, OK. I had my lap-band surgery May 20th at United Regional in Wichita Falls, Tx. Dr Chris Finnell was my surgeon with Dr May assisting. This is all kinda new to me and I'm still trying to figure it all out and not be so darn confused by it all. lol yes that will take time. So far since my pre-op appt I have lost 13 lbs. Really excited about that too .

girl55 5 Posted May 31, 2010 You've taken the first step. Just remember listen too your stomach, not your mind. I realized that after just a small amount of food, I felt fool. But my mind sometimes say, "that tastes so good, i think i'll have another". But don't give in. You'll eventually learn to know the difference. Keep up the good work, 13 is GREAT!
