I am working in that madness. LOL I have to work from 5AM (when the Walmart sale begins) to 2PM that day.

I literally can't wait to see the people run through the doors and make a mad dash & scramble to get what they want. It'll be exciting.

We also get to use LineRusher cards that day, so it'll make my job easy. I'll also have a manager standing behind me (and every cashier) and they'll be doing all of the bagging for us. My job will be so easy that day that I honestly can't wait. All I'll have to do is take people's money. Awesome.

A LineRusher card totals everything up and adds the tax etc.. So I just run the items through, scan the card, and that's all that needs to be done. I won't have to punch any buttons or anything. It totals it all up and then they pay.

You go Dylansmom, you are a real expert already. I have never heard of a Line Rusher Card, are they at all WalMarts or is that just a local test idea.

I will be one of the ones out there early Friday morning. I love flipping thru all of the ads trying to figure out who has the best deal on what I need. I usually split the shopping with my parents and we go to seperate stores so that we cover all of the stores in the shortest amount of time. I am out of the house by 4:30 and home by 8 am finished!!

Thanks Mandy for the heads up on the great sales.

Its a tradition, my mother, my sister and myself go every year.......out brite and early. I'm not much of a shopper, but that is my favorite day of the year. My husband went one year and he swears he'll never do it again. One year I watched a women (probably in her 50's) punch a man in the face over a bike!!! It was kinda funny, he was in shock/stunned and she left being escorted by the police and didn't end up with the bike!!!! People are crazy, but its fun!!!!!!

I was in our local Hechts, which is a Mays company, and the lady was marking things 30% off, and taking down the current 40% sign, to allow for the "sale" and the 15% off coupons. Talk about ripped off.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
