kellykimba 0 Posted May 21, 2010 Ok, I have been feeling really great, looking forward to my first fill. The day before my fill, I started feeling like something had gotten stuck(I have little or no Fluid in band) and was pretty painful but bearable. It felt just like if you swallowed real hard and 5 seconds later the pain would be gone except this pain did not go away for 2 days. I explained this to my dr. the next day and he would not give me a fill because he said I was eating to fast and maybe taking too big of bites( rescheduled me for 6 weeks later:().All day I felt slight discomfort, but it was bearable. Now yesterday I was feeling better for the most part except when I went to bed-I had bad pains between my breast bone and a lump in my throat.I do not have my gallbladder anymore, but boy are the feelings similar!! I do not know what to think this morning I am back to slight discomfort in my backbone and my ribcage is sore like I did situps or something. My husband thinks I am nuts!!(lol) I have been virtually pain free for most of my 5 weeks post op. I am going to call my dr. office when they open at 9, but I am so anxious!! I am trying not to worry about every little twitch, but I do not feel that my original pain was due to eating too fast.At the time I was in my dr office I did not think my pain would last 3 days and counting....I know my friends here would at least sympathize with me or commiserate(lol)Any input would be great!!! jensmallwood 0 Posted May 21, 2010 I'm sorry you're in pain!! I'm not sure what the problem is, but I think checking it out with your doctor is the right thing to do. Good luck! I hope this resolves quickly for you!

bambam 0 Posted May 21, 2010 Kelly - Will be curious to see what your doctor says. Did you go to liquids after you had the "pain?" Whenever I get stuck or have that feeling of discomfort - especially if it persists, I give things time to calm down and go to liquids for a few days, slowly getting back to solids. You may have some swelling and if you are eating solids it may be irritating it. Let us know what you find out!
