jttaurus 0 Posted November 19, 2005 Do any of you guys have any experience with birthcontrol post op? I know RNY paperwork stated something about birthcontrol pills being ineffective because of the digestive changes. Anyone know about IUD's? My awsome insurance pays for this too, after copay ofcourse. I don't want a surpise pregnancy during my weight loss journey but I do want to try after about 2 more years. There goes my 5 year plan. Please let me know. Jennifer

dolphin_dreams 0 Posted November 21, 2005 My OB and surgeon said the the surgery should not effect my birthcontrol. My OB did say that I might have some breakthrough bleeding which often occurs when your body is going through major changes.
