Isn't it strange that when the scale is moving and you know you are losing people don't seem to notice?? But when you have been stalled for a month, the scale isn't budging everyone is noticing and say things like "Look at you wasting away"

I have noticed that same phenomenon.....my co-workers ttell me, "You have got to stop!!" and I will have just regained 3 pounds!!!!! Go figure!!!

I am sorry you are going through a down patch and plateau. I hope it passes soon as you are too nice a person to be worried and depressed. When I stall I evaluate my journal and find all the "little" places I have slipped up and often find they add up to the problem.

Best wishes and good luck.

Mimi

It's really true! Our bodies must spend that stalled time redistributing or something, because I've been stalled for two weeks---and yesterday got into a pair of jeans that did NOT fit me at the beginning of the stall.

I hate getting stalled! It frustrates me to no end. I have to stay off the scales and then all at once, I "feel" the loss and it's there.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
