Chargenrse 0 Posted May 14, 2010 Hi all I was banded in April and am two weeks post-op. I am to start "mushie" stage tomorrow. I have been instructed by my Doc to puree meat. Has anyone done this and how do I make it palatable?:w00t:
mousek 4 Posted May 14, 2010 Hello, I am in the mushie stage and am finding that ground meat is much easier for not getting stuck in the throat though it still has to be well chewed. I havent tried pureeing meat. I had some tuna from the can but had to mush mush mush it up with the fork to be able to swallow it. I ate it unmushed first and it was so painful. I added some Mayonnaise and then a little bit of Water to mush it out.

Blend until thick, soup-like. Or, one of the "Chunky" Soups that has meat in it and use the blender. food like this that is already pre-cooked and seasoned actually tastes really good blended up like that. S.
