camh104 0 Posted May 13, 2010 Hello, My name is Carol and I just began my weight loss journey. I attended a seminar in April and Friday will attend my 1st consult with the surgeon. I am so nervous. I do not know what to expect. I am loking for someone who will share their success, or is on the journey like me and we can go through the process together. I will attend my 1st support group meeting in June. I've struggled with weight for 25 years. I want to enjoy life again. At 45 I feel I've missed so much because of my weight. I think it is fantastic that you are starting to take the steps the live your life! I have a son who turns 3 on June 1st, so I know exactly what you mean. If I didn't do something I would miss his whole life. Now I can do anything with him (well almost..not sure any adult has toddler energy but I don't give up).
