loserbob 11 Posted May 9, 2010 Does it hurt to get a fill?
crzytchr 3 Posted May 10, 2010 Mine are done without a numbing shot and both of them were completely painless. No problem at all. I think a lot of what determines whether or not it hurts depends on the expertise of the person giving it and their ability to access your port. Sometimes I think the port may be a little turned and that makes it a little more difficult. The biggest advice I can give is don't look at the needle. I look at the ceiling. ♥Amy♥ 5 Posted May 10, 2010 I had my first fill on Friday and my surgeon was good. The 1st time all I felt was a pinch. Her pushing down to find my port hurt more than the needle. The second time she stuck me when she had to remove some of the fill she had just put in didnt hurt at all. I wasn't looking so when she said I was done I didn't even know she had done it yet! And I don't get numbed before hand, either.
