B: unjury

S: hard boiled egg & salmon burger (no bun)

L: baked hot wings w/side salad

S: zone perfect Protein bar

D: steamed shrimp & green beans

water/crystal light: all day

exercise: yes please!!> gym (am) & gym (pm)

TUE:

B: 1 egg and small peice of sausage

L: chicken thigh and Water melon

D: chicken and shrimp

WED:

B: 5 slices of turkey peperoni and honeydew melon

L: Leftover chicken and shrimp

D: Leftover chicken and shrimp w/ some mango

Have not worked -out this week..was struck with a bad cold..so eating right and already down several pounds for the week :clap2:

TUE:

I'm reading these postings and thinking damn eating that sounds painful.... I pretty much stick with Soup all the time even though I was banded last December. chicken and I are not friends. The one odd thing I think is so wierd that I'm able to eat is chips....I discovered this at a mexican restaurant...trying just one and warning that there could be a mass exodus to the bathroom......even still I can only eat a few of those. A lean cuisine would be like 5 meals for me...I guess I thought I was normal but reading these posts I'm thinking not so much.

I found it at Safeway or Giant...should be easy to find..I get them all the time. :hungry:

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
